Locums Hospitalist coverage in Vermont with 24 hour solo shifts at a small inpatient hospital, on site time with overnight in house call. Adult inpatient rounding and admits.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital medicine, adult patients.
• Average daily census 6.9.
• Support staff available include General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Uro Gynecology, and Podiatry during normal business hours, night and weekend coverage may vary.
• EMR: CPSI, T System, Allscripts.

Schedule

• 24 hour shifts with on site coverage, typically 12 to 15 hours on site plus night call.
• In house and overnight call required.
• Days needed: 8/14 to 8/16, with an additional block 9/17 to 9/19 if it is a good fit.

Cases and Procedures

• Ventilator management.
• Intubations.
• Central lines.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified, Hospital Medicine CAQ.
• ACLS required.
• Active Vermont medical license required, will not wait for license.

Travel Accommodations

• Hotel provided for the first night of arrival.
• Standard travel reimbursement, plus rental car or mileage reimbursement.
