About the PositionLocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Nephrology MD in New Mexico!
We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Nephrology for a 100-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves 7am-5pm shifts focused on comprehensive nephrology consultations, outpatient clinic duties, and hospital rounds, with weekend transplant coverage every 6-8 weeks, treating a wide range of nephrology cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 95% general and 5% transplant consulting services
- Manage an outpatient clinic independently
- Treat general chronic kidney disease
- Manage hypertension cases
- Conduct hospital consultations
- Perform admitting and discharging of patients
- Complete hospital rounds
- Provide transplant coverage every 6-8 weekends
- Manage all cases within the scope of nephrology as a consulting physician
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Nephrology is required
- Experience with Cerner EMR
