General Surgeon
Opening in Portland, Oregon
Northwest Permanente (NWP) has an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE General Surgeon at our Westside Medical Center in Hillsboro, Oregon (Portland Metropolitan area). Our new surgeon will have an elective practice blended with one week a month supporting our Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Team. Our ideal partner will be a recent graduate or experienced surgeon with a drive to be clinically active and improve care pathways for EGS surgery patients.
What you can expect
- Hybrid emergent general surgery (EGS) and elective general surgery position
- Advanced laparoscopic/robotic training preferred
- No trauma call
- Elective practice with a good blend of bread-and-butter general surgery cases, including gallbladders, appendectomies, hernias, benign anorectal, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, skin surgery
- Option for colon surgery and breast surgery, if that is of interest
- Teaching responsibilities with residents and medical students
Total rewards package
- The annual salary for this position is $335,800 - $409,500 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
